Capital Cleaning has been in the cleaning industry since 2007 and has served every type of client. In 2020, our focus shifted to the construction industry, and it has become our passion to serve only the General Contractor. It is our mission to deliver innovative solutions that address the growing challenges related to labor shortages. We currently service Idaho, Montana, and Utah, and will continue to expand and serve our clients where we are needed. About our Founders
Lauren Ertz
CEO
Lauren Ertz is the co-owner and CEO of Capital Cleaning, along with her husband who is the head of operations. Prior to her entrepreneurial life, Lauren held a 12-year career in public policy with the State of Idaho. During her tenure she served on several health boards, earned the Certified Public Managers designation, and collaborated at both the state and federal levels to improve services for children with disabilities and their families. In 2016, Lauren shifted gears to join the family business because she had a yearning to do more for her community and as a leader. As the company’s CEO, she is committed to changing the landscape for contractors in search of more reliable and dependable labor resources. She is also passionate about her mentorship with cleaning companies and working towards achieving greater outcomes for other small businesses. Lauren serves on the National Association for Women in Construction Idaho Board, is a member of the Idaho AGC, and actively supports advocacy groups who serve Idaho children in need.
